LOVE is an active power in man; a power which breaks through the walls which separate man from his fellow men, which unite him with ohters; LOVE makes him overcome the sense of isolation and separateness; yet it permits him to be himself; to retain his integrity" -Erich Fromm
Unconditional LOVE is our natural state of being and exists in each of us. It is th simple things that make a difference... a genuine smile, authentic complement, extending a helping hand, serving wholeheartedly and being passionate about our lives and contributing for the betterment of the world.
We have become so conditioned by fear and faulty beliefs that inhibits our capacity, not only to LOVE others, but to LOVE ourselves. It takes practice to dwell in Love, and when we do we are happy and contribute to the well-being of others. Ultimately, WE FEEL GOOD! Practice the ingredients in the recipe of love in your daily life (Patience, Kindness, Humility, Generosity, Courtesy, Good Temper, Guilessness, Unselfishness and Sincerity.) Live by these higher ideals of Love and Dwell in Love by:

Can I really be lost? What detoured me from my path. How can I get back on track? Perhaps at some point in your life you felt this way or maybe feeling this way now. Listening to the voices and following the crowd that tell us how we should think, what we should believe, and how we should act brings confustion. Some of these may have orignated in childhood resulting in self-defeating thoughts that make us feel unloving, unlovable and unworthy.

What does it feel like when we have a good temper? What does it feel like when others are good-tempered toward you? Good Temper is an ingredient in the 'Recipe of Love' and essential for self care.
When we show Good Temper, we build a better relationship with ourselves and others. Henry Drummond states, "We are incined to look upon bad temper as a very harmless weekness. We speak of it as a mere infirmity of nature, a family failing, a matter of temperament, not a thing to take into very serious account in estimating a man's character. Condemn it as one of the most destructive elements in human nature".Ill-temper is a vice of the virtuous and an unloving characteristic. It destroys relationships, communities and nations.

In the midst of unspeakable tragedies, it may be difficult to be happy. Why should I be happy when there are so many suffering? If we join in the vibration of sadness, we manifest more sadness... hence grief and anxiety. But, how can we find HAPPINESS? As Buddha quotes, it begins with self-discipline and self- control. Engage in self-reflection to determine if you are aligned with the vibraton of goodness and LOVE. What are you thinking? How are you feeling? What actions are you taking? All is reflected in the outer world.

"You have to learn how to say no without feeling guilty. Setting boundaries is healthy. You need to learn to respect and take care of yourself"

Have you ever resigned yourself to doing something that did not feel good for you? Have you said "Yes" when in your heart you knew you should have said "No"? Do you feel guilty when you say "No"? What feels good and right for you is good and right for others. Often we say "Yes" because we feel obligated and responsible for others, even though it may inhibit their personal growth and sense of responsibility. We may say "Yes" because we are inclined to be people pleasures and believe that our self-worth comes from others.
Uncondiitonal love is responding with the expectation of something in return..."If I do this for you, when my time comes, I expect you to respond to me the same". When others do not respond according to your expectations, this builds up anger and resentment. When we set healthy boundaries, we teach others how to treat us and this creates a ripple effect for change, not only for you but others as well.
It is our duty to take care of our mental, physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. SELF CARE is SELF-LOVE. Stay strong and be clear about what is best for you. This takes constant awareness. Take the time to pause before you respond. Go inward and you will know what feels right. Overthinking can cause unhappiness.
Self Care is loving yourself enough to set healthy boundaries. Self Care is being True to yourself by:

-Trusting your intuition
-Nurturing your inner child
-Developing your support system

Our lives encompass all kinds of adaptations, adjustments, and accommodations on a daily basis. We can get caught up into what is expected of us, illusions of success and happiness to the point where we lose ourselves. Creating a false personality image can be exhausting and draining. Your true self, the Divine essence of who you really are, is stable and unchanging. Go within and connect to the LOVE within and Be Your True Self. These points are helpful:

A universal desire by the vast majoirty of human beings is to be happy. We search for happiness in relationships, jobs, activities, and entertainment with fleeting moments of pleasure. However, the true state of happiness requires self-regulation and choice. Happiness is a higher state of being. The process of discipling the body and purifying speech and mind brings happiness. Take note of the following words of wisdome to promote a happy and harmonious life by Rahula:
-RIGHT SPEECH and Abstention from telling lies, slander and talk that may bring hatred, disunity, and disharmony among individuals or groups of people
-RIGHT ACTION aims at promoting moral, honorable, and peaceful conduct
-RIGHT LIVELIHOOD means that one should abstain from making one's living through a profession that brings harm to others

LOVE is an active power in man; a power which breaks through the walls which separate man from his fellow men, which unite him with ohters; LOVE makes him overcome the sense of isolation and separateness; yet it permits him to be himself; to retain his integrity" -Erich Fromm
Unconditional LOVE is our natural state of being and exists in each of us. It is th simple things that make a difference... a genuine smile, authentic complement, extending a helping hand, serving wholeheartedly and being passionate about our lives and contributing for the betterment of the world.
We have become so conditioned by fear and faulty beliefs that inhibits our capacity, not only to LOVE others, but to LOVE ourselves. It takes practice to dwell in Love, and when we do we are happy and contribute to the well-being of others. Ultimately, WE FEEL GOOD! Practice the ingredients in the recipe of love in your daily life (Patience, Kindness, Humility, Generosity, Courtesy, Good Temper, Guilessness, Unselfishness and Sincerity.) What does it feel like when we have a good temper? What does it feel like when others are good-tempered toward you? Good Temper is an ingredient in the 'Recipe of Love' and essential for self care.
When we show Good Temper, we build a better relationship with ourselves and others. Henry Drummond states, "We are incined to look upon bad temper as a very harmless weekness. We speak of it as a mere infirmity of nature, a family failing, a matter of temperament, not a thing to take into very serious account in estimating a man's character. Condemn it as one of the most destructive elements in human nature".Ill-temper is a vice of the virtuous and an unloving characteristic. It destroys relationships, communities and nations.
LOVE is not easily provoked. Be of Good Temper and you will be in control of yourself:

In the midst of unspeakable tragedies, it may be difficult to be happy. Why should I be happy when there are so many suffering? If we join in the vibration of sadness, we manifest more sadness... hence grief and anxiety. But, how can we find HAPPINESS? As Buddha quotes, it begins with self-discipline and self- control. Engage in self-reflection to determine if you are aligned with the vibraton of goodness and LOVE. What are you thinking? How are you feeling? What actions are you taking? All is reflected in the outer world.
HAPPINESS is an inside job. HAPPINESS is making healthy choices that is essential to Self-Care. Be responsible for yourself. Make healthy choices. Know what to hold on to and when to let go. Here are some practical tips:

Have you ever resigned yourself to doing something that did not feel good for you? Have you said "Yes" when in your heart you knew you should have said "No"? Do you feel guilty when you say "No"? What feels good and right for you is good and right for others. Often we say "Yes" because we feel obligated and responsible for others, even though it may inhibit their personal growth and sense of responsibility. We may say "Yes" because we are inclined to be people pleasures and believe that our self-worth comes from others.
Uncondiitonal love is responding with the expectation of something in return..."If I do this for you, when my time comes, I expect you to respond to me the same". When others do not respond according to your expectations, this builds up anger and resentment. When we set healthy boundaries, we teach others how to treat us and this creates a ripple effect for change, not only for you but others as well.
It is our duty to take care of our mental, physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. SELF CARE is SELF-LOVE. Stay strong and be clear about what is best for you. This takes constant awareness. Take the time to pause before you respond. Go inward and you will know what feels right. Overthinking can cause unhappiness.
Self Care is loving yourself enough to set healthy boundaries. Self Care is being True to yourself by:

Love unconditionally and be forgiving. Our actions reflect who we are. When we are being kind, we are considerate, compassionate, complimentary, and gentle. In order to show KINDNESS to others, we must first be KIND to ourselves. When we are KIND to ourselves, we appreciate and accept ourselves. Listen to yourself. How are you talking to yourself. A universal desire by the vast majoirty of human beings is to be happy. We search for happiness in relationships, jobs, activities, and entertainment with fleeting moments of pleasure. However, the true state of happiness requires self-regulation and choice. Happiness is a higher state of being. The process of discipling the body and purifying speech and mind brings happiness.
